Starting pitcher for the Tampa Bay Rays, Chris Archer made his MLB debut in 2012. At the start of the first season with the Rays, he was rated number 87 best prospect in baseball by Baseball America. Archer's MLB debut was him starting in place of an injured Jeremy Hellickson and he recorded seven strikeouts in six innings.
