The Purdue Boilermakers have been a prominent force in the Big Ten for decades in both football and basketball, and the proud tradition of each program continues today.
On the gridiron, Purdue has claimed one national title (1931) and has won the conference 12 times. Their strength has traditionally come from the quarterback position, where legends such as Bob Griese, Mark Herrmann, and, most recently, Drew Brees have earned All-American accolades.
