GAMEDAY Auctions Adds Perennial Powerhouse

The summer swoon before football season can be a slow time in the memorabilia world. Florida based company GAMEDAY Auctions used the lull as a time to lock in one of the most popular colleges in the country with a three-year agreement to become the official in-stadium auction provider for the University of Florida. The deal makes Florida the second SEC school and fourth overall joining like likes of Georgia, Ohio State and Florida State. GAMEDAY Auctions is entering its third season running on-site and online auctions during college football season. Acquiring a contract like the Florida Gators was a perfect fit for a Tampa-based company. Gators faithful will be introduced to an interactive gameday experience inside and outside “The Swamp” on game day. Florida Gators collectors will be impressed with the offering from GAMEDAY Auctions who are conducting autograph signings with all of the Gator legends: Tim Tebow, Steve Spurrier, Emmitt Smith, Jevon Kearse, Fred Taylor, Danny Wuerrfel and many more over the summer. September will bring an influx of new signed memorabilia to Gainesville.

GAMEDAY Auctions enters its third year at Florida State University with a four auction stand presence. Top selling Seminoles are Bobby Bowden, Jameis Winston, Peter Warrick and Deion Sanders. Common hot items inside Doak Campbell are framed jerseys, full size helmets and custom framed photos. You could say GAMEDAY Auctions is hedging their bets by partnering with two bitter, in-state rivals but oftentimes that is good for business. Moving northeast, the GAMEDAY Auctions team will be inside Sanford Stadium in Athens, Georgia for their second season. With the Georgia Bulldogs entering the season as a title contender, many fans and collectors are exciting for the 2019 NCAA Football season. To satisfy high demand, Sports Collectibles has conducted private signing with Bulldog legends: Herschel Walker, Vince Dooley, Hines Ward, Nick Chubb, Sony Michel and many more to add a new product line for 2019. The upcoming football season will certainly be one for the books.

Game Day Auctions is proud to partner with Florida State University, University of Florida, University of Georgia and The Ohio State University as their official on site auction provider for autographed memorabilia and collectibles.

Toronto Raptors Autographed NBA Finals Champions Memorabilia

The Raptors did not go the way of the dinosaur. The 2019 NBA finals were played between the Two Time defending Champion Golden State Warriors and the young and hungry Toronto “We the North” Raptors. The Warriors were led by 3 point sniper Stephen Curry while battling a slew of injuries with leading scorer Kevin Durant out for 5 1/2 of the 6 games. The upstart Raptors were led by Kawhi “The Claw” Leonard. Coming into this match-up it was a battle of the NBA’s top offense and the top defense. Something had to give, and it was ultimately the offensive product of a depleted Warriors attack. From the beginning of this season, the Warriors were a heavy favorite to make it this far in the playoffs, but the Raptors were a true Cinderella story. Trading away their most popular player, Demar Derozan for Kawhi Leonard, new head coach Nick Nurse and the emergence of young forward Pascal Siakam. The non-stop defensive pressure of Toronto Raptors was too much for Golden State’s offense as the Raptors won the NBA Finals in 6 games on the home court of the Warriors. Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard has a knack for ending three-peat runs as this is the second time in his career, he has won the NBA Championship against a team going for a 3rd straight ring.  Kawhi Leonard is making a name for himself quietly some would say as he is now a 2 time NBA Champion, 2 Time Finals MVP, 2 time defensive player of the year and all at the age of 27 and first entering the prime years of his career. The longest tenured Raptor, Kyle Lowry had a near triple double to propel his Canadian Club to a world championship.

Looking into next season there a few questions to be answered about both teams. Starting with the Warriors, Durant is now coming off of a torn Achilles injury and his contract has expired so where will he land this offseason? Klay Thompson tore his ACL in his left knee in the final game of the finals so what will the Warriors do to fill his void next season?

Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard’s contract has ended but will winning the Championship be enough to convince him to stay in Toronto? The Gasol brothers just became the first brother to win a ring on the same team, will the Raptors resign one of both?  Pick up some authentic signed Toronto Raptors autographed memorabilia from Sports Collectibles. Top selling championship items are autographed photos from Game 6, signed jerseys and basketballs.

St. Louis Blues Autographed Stanley Cup Champions Memorabilia

The Stanley Cup is heading to St. Louis for the first time in the franchises history as the Blues defeated the Bruins 4-1 in Game 7 of the Stanley Cup. Ryan O’Reilly won the MVP trophy and it was no surprise as he set a NHL record by scoring the Blues opening goal in the final 4 Stanley Cup games. The Blues young goalie Jordan Binnington played to almost perfection last night and looked like a true veteran as he stopped 32 of the 33 shots he faced last night. The Bruins put up a good fight this series behind captain Zdeno Chara in what may end up being the 42 year old veterans final NHL season. Stanley Cup signed memorabilia will be selling early and often and will sell out. Top selling products are Blues autographed jerseys, signed pucks and team signed photos.

The Blues have shocked the hockey world with a worst to first turnaround that many hockey historians have never seen. These Blues are not going anywhere with a lot of the key contributors under contract for multiple seasons, the Blues run will not die down soon.
