Three MLB Cy Young candidates all took the rubber and all proved why they deserve that Cy Young trophy. Aaron Nola and Mad Max Scherzer took the mound in a head to head matchup, both put together quality starts and their season totals line up pretty evenly. Later in the night. The Mets star pitcher Jacob DeGrom took the mound last night as well. DeGrom added another quality start to his season with 10 strikeouts making his total 214 for the season with a 1.74 ERA.
