NHL’s Best Players of Right Now

The Tampa Bay Lightning are having a record-setting year in the 2017-18 season, and a big part of that success is the incredible play of All-Star goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy, who already has five shutouts and the season is only at the half-way mark. His popularity among Lightning fans is growing every day, and his autographed NHL memorabilia is highly prized.
Drafted by the Lightning in 2014 and was assigned to the Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League (AHL), the top minor league affiliate of the Tampa Bay Lightning. He played so well so quickly that he was called up in December to the Lightning. He started that night in his NHL debut, a 3–1 victory over the Philadelphia Flyers.
He nailed his first of many shutouts on 3 March 2015, over the Buffalo Sabres in a 28-save performance. Vasilevskiy’s first playoff win came in 2015 when he replaced goalie Ben Bishop twice during the third period of Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Finals. He became the first goalie in 24 years to win a playoff Final game in relief.
On July 1, 2016, the Lightning announced the re-signing of Vasilevskiy to a three-year contract extension. Vasilevskiy appeared in 24 games with the team last season, posting a record of 11–10–0 to go along with a 2.76 goals-against average and .910 save percentage. He had one shutout in his second season with the team. He also played in eight Stanley Cup playoff games in 2016, recording a record of 3–4 to go along with a 2.76 goals-against average and .925 save percentage. In December of 2016, Vasilevskiy recorded his first career NHL point on an overtime goal scored by Tyler Johnson, which came in a 4–3 victory over the visiting Montreal Canadiens.
On October 26, 2017, Vasilevskiy played in his 100th career NHL game. In that game Vasilevskiy recorded his 8th consecutive win of the season. This win tied Vasilevskiy with Nikolai Khabibulin for most consecutive wins by a Lightning goaltender. On October 30, 2017, Vasilevskiy recorded his 9th consecutive win, which moved him past Khabibulin for most consecutive wins by a Lightning goalie.
Next, Vasilevskiy popped a 3-0 shutout against the St. Louis Blues at the Scottrade Center. The win was Vasilevskiy’s 20th of the season over 25-games, which was the 5th fastest in NHL history. This also made Vasilevskiy only the 6th goalie in NHL history to record 20 wins in 25 games played. This goalie will surely be an integral piece of the puzzle when the Lightning take the Stanley Cup in 2018.
Check out these three great signed and authenticated items by Andrei Vasilevskiy, and then look in the vault to see what else we have.

Talk about a guy who can score goals, Alex Ovechkin’s contribution to not only the Washington Capitals, where he plays at left wing and is the team captain, but to the NHL at large, where he is considered one of the best players in the league, is sure to place him in the Hall of Fame.
He is a big presence on the ice at 6’3” and 235 pounds, and is no one to be pushed around. His presence in the world of NHL authenticated collectibles is also palpable, with Alex Ovenchkin’s autographed sticks, pucks, jerseys and photos are always in big demand.
Ovenchkin was drafted No. 1 by the Capitals in the 2004 draft and has been raising hell and on-ice stats ever since. Ovechkin has led the NHL in goal scoring, and won the Rocket Richard Trophy six times in his career. He first did so in 2007–08 season, when he recorded 65 goals and 112 points. He led the league in points, winning the Art Ross Trophy, and also won the Hart Memorial Trophy as the league’s most valuable player and Lester B. Pearson Award as the best player as voted on by the NHL Players’ Association.
Alex Ovechkin would again win the Hart Trophy and Pearson Award in 2009, along with the Richard Trophy, and won the Ted Lindsay Award (the renamed Pearson Award) for a third consecutive year in 2010; it also marked the fifth straight year that he was named to the First All-Star Team. After a couple years of decreased scoring, Ovechkin again led the league in goals, earning the Richard Trophy, in 2013, and again winning the Hart Trophy. He would repeat as the Richard Trophy winner from 2014 to 2016, scoring at least 50 goals each season, becoming the first player to win the award six times, and the third to lead the NHL in goals that many times, as well as the third player to score 50 goals in a season seven times. He marked 500 career NHL goals in the 2015–16 season and also led the league in goals for four straight seasons from 2012–13 to 2015–16; as such, Ovechkin is considered by many to be one of the greatest goal scorers in the history of the NHL. In 2017 Ovechkin was named one of the 100 Greatest NHL Players of all-time.
Peruse our Alex Ovechkin memorabilia such as the three items below, and then tour the rest of the vault.

From 1969 to 1984, the endurable Bobby Clarke played a full season every year for the Philadelphia Flyers of the NHL. Every year he played at least 70 games as center (average 76 games per year) with the exception of one year when he played in 62 games. That’s one tough monkey. His signed NHL memorabilia is as endurable as he is, selling at top prices even today. A Bobby Clarke autographed piece of NHL equipment or color photo is not only a great item of NHL history, but also a great investment in sports collectibles.
Bobby Clarke is regarded as one of the greatest hockey players of all time. He was also captain of the Flyers from 1973 to 1979, winning the Stanley Cup in 1974 and 1975.
Clarke won about every esteemed award in professional hockey including the Lester B. Pearson award, the Frank J. Selke Trophy and the Hart Memorial Trophy on three occasions. He is in the Hockey Hall of Fame and was No. 24 on The Hockey News’ list of The Top 100 NHL Players of All-Time. In addition, Bobby Clarke had three 100-point seasons, led the league twice in assists, and played in eight NHL All-Star Games.
Upon retiring at the end of the 1983–84 season with 358 goals and 852 assists for a total of 1,210 points in 1,144 career games, he immediately became general manager of the Flyers. He spent 19 of the following 23 seasons as a general manager of the Flyers, also briefly serving as general manager of the Minnesota North Stars and Florida Panthers, and reached the Stanley Cup Finals three times with the Flyers and once with Minnesota. An amazing career by the man with the great wrist shot and the famous “toothless grin.”
You can’t get more hockey history from an autographed collectible than from a Bobby Clarke signed item that is authenticated as all of ours are at sportscollectibles.com.

Auston Matthews is left-shooting center who plays for the Toronto Maple Leafs of the NHL. A big boy at 6’3” and 220 pounds, Matthews set such a blazing start in the NHL that his Jersey became the best-selling piece of Maple Leafs gear in his rookie year. We have authenticated Jerseys signed by Auston Matthews, and certified official NHL equipment (see end of article). After a great Junior hockey career, Matthews was the top prospect of the 2016 NHL Entry Draft, and was taken first overall by the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Now, this single statistic would be good enough to make anyone’s career – in the first game he ever played in the NHL, Matthews became the first player in modern NHL history to score four goals in his NHL debut (the last time a player did that was in 1917). Matthews nailed 40 goals in his first season becoming the fourth teenager in league history to do so. In the midst of his rookie season, Matthews was ranked the second best active American player in the NHL, and at season’s end, he was awarded the 2017 Calder Memorial Trophy as the top NHL rookie.
Two months later in the NHL Centennial Classic, Matthews scored the game-winning goal in overtime, securing a 5–4 victory for the Maple Leafs. On March 28, 2017, Matthews scored his 35th goal of the season, setting the record for most goals in a season by a Leafs’ rookie. He then scored his 39th goal and 67th point, breaking the franchise record for most points in a season as well as the record for most goals by an American born rookie.
Matthews helped the Maple Leafs make the playoffs for the first time since 2004. After going pointless in the first two games of the series, Matthews scored in each of the last four games as the team was eliminated in six contests by the Capitals. In recognition for his historic accomplishments throughout the year, Matthews was awarded the Calder Memorial Trophy, as the league’s top rookie.
Take a look at the prime Auston Matthews autographed collectibles below and the peruse the rest of our Maple Leafs vault.

Brian Leetch is a left-shooting NHL legend who scored many goals, made many assists, and wasn’t even a center or a right wing. He was a defenseman – and a superb defenseman who played for 18 years in the NHL. His autographed NHL memorabilia is highly prized and maintains a healthy reputation amongst hockey aficionados. He is regarded by many NHL players and fans to be one of the top defensemen in NHL history, and his election to the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame, and to the Toronto Hall of Fame were a nod to his greatness.
Leetch was drafted 9th overall in the 1986 open draft by the New York Rangers. He quickly became known for his assists, his skill at skating ‘circles around his competition,’ and for his outstanding and simply killer offensive play. In his first full year with the Rangers, he won the Calder Trophy for NHL Rookie of the Year in 1989. The 23 goals that Leetch dropped in the net that season is still the record for rookie defensemen.
In his brilliant career, Leetch garnered numerous awards including the esteemed Norris Trophy, which he won twice as the best defenseman in the NHL. He also won the Conn Smythe Trophy, which is awarded as playoff MVP for his performance in the 1994 Stanley Cup championship. Here’s a stat for you – Brian Leetch is one of only five NHL defensemen to score 100 points in a season with his 102-point campaign in 1991–92.

Even as the great Wayne Gretzky was setting the NHL ice ablaze in the 1980s, many professional hockey observers and critics maintained that Bryan Trottier was “the greatest player in the NHL.” That is huge praise, easily as huge as some of Bryan Trottiers’ autographed NHL photos, certified trading cards, equipment, and other signed and authenticated memorabilia.
Bryan “Trots” Trottier was drafted by the New York Islanders in 1974 and quickly set an NHL rookie record of 95 points and won the Calder Memorial Trophy as the NHL’s rookie of the year. Trottier played 15 great years with that team, nailing down FOUR – count em’ – FOUR consecutive Stanley Cup Trophies with the Islanders from 1980-83. With the Islander’s first Stanley Cup in 1980 Trottier won the Conn Smythe Trophy as playoff MVP. Also notable, from 1980-84, his team won 19 consecutive playoff games, a record not likely to be broken. Trottier’s best season was 1978–79 when he scored 134 points, earning him the Art Ross Trophy as the League’s top scorer, as well as the Hart Memorial Trophy as NHL MVP.
An all-around hockey player, Bryan Trottier was a genius on offense, a brilliant defenseman and one tough son-of-a-gun. While helping the Islanders dominate the NHL in the early 1980s, Trottier was the main man of “The Trio Grande,” the line that included teammates Clark Gillies and Mike Bossy.
After being released by the Islanders at the end of the 1990 season (the Islanders management thought his best years were behind him), he promptly won the Stanley Cup Trophy with the Pittsburgh Penguins in 1991 and 1992. So much for the Islanders’ management. Bryan Trottier was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1997, his first year of eligibility. A legendary player and bona fide hockey star, Trottier went into coaching and won another Stanley Cup (7th) with the Colorado Avalanche in 2001.
Take a look at these signed and certified Bryan Trottier gems below and then continue on to our full collection of autographed memorabilia.

Cam Fowler, the left-shooting, goal-popping defenseman for the Anaheim Ducks, is a star on the rise, as are his signed and certified hockey collectibles. Early on, Fowler was a gold-medal winner at the Olympics and an immediate top draw in the OHL where he scored one point per game his entire first season.
He entered the NHL in 2010 with the Ducks where his speed-skating and finesse play-making caused him to be selected to play in the 2011 NHL All-Star Game as part of the rookie team.
A powerful shooter, Fowler’s best weapon is his speed and agility on offense. In the current 2017-18 campaign, Fowler missed 12 games due to an injured knee and promptly returned to form on Dec. 3, scoring a goal and adding an assist in a 3-2 loss.
Professional hockey observers expect more great things from this young defenseman as this season progresses, as obviously so do the Ducks, who signed an 8-year extension, $52 million contract with Fowler in 2017.
Check out the Cam Fowler autographed hockey collectibles below. If you want a particular item signed by Cam Fowler, call us and let us know.

Brandon Dubinsky is a fast-skating big center, standing at 6′ 2” and 210 pounds and blowing away most defensemen that get in his way. This hard-hitting, left-shooting center for the Columbus Blue Jackets is a consistent scorer and a popular star for the Blue Jackets. His autographed NHL memorabilia is much in demand by his loyal fan base.
Originally, Brandon Dubinsky was drafted by the New York Rangers in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft and played for them from 2006 to 2012.
Dubinsky played in the AHL for most of the 2006–07 season and was called up by the Rangers in March of 2007. He skated for most of that year as center of the Rangers’ first forward line, and was the MVP of the 2008 Young Stars competition where he scored two goals and one assist. That same year in May, he scored a hat trick in his first World Championship game against Norway. Team USA won the game 9–1.
On November 24, 2008, Dubinsky scored a Gordie Howe hat trick against the Phoenix Coyotes. On April 15, 2009, Dubinsky scored the game-winning goal of the Rangers’ first game of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Dubinsky signed a two-year contract worth $3.7 million. Dubinsky endured a broken hand in November of 2009 and was on IR for five weeks. Dubinsky finished the season with career highs in goals and points. After the 2010–11 season, Dubinsky signed a four-year, $16.8 million contract.
On July 23, 2012, Dubinsky was traded to the Columbus Blue Jackets, and after two good seasons, he signed a 6-year, $35.1 million contract extension with the Blue Jackets.
Dubinsky suffered a fractured orbital bone in a game against the Edmonton Oilers on December 12, 2017, and was placed on long term injured reserve.
Take a look at a few of our signed and certified NHL collectibles from Brandon Dubinsky, and then check out the Blue Jackets vault.

Bowie “Bo” Horvat is an outstanding center who shoots left-handed and is a main cog in the wheel of the Vancouver Canucks. He was selected 9th overall in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft and has been a much sought-after autograph ever since, with his signed and certified equipment and photos selling like hotcakes.
In the beginning, it began. During his junior career in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), he won the Wayne Gretzky 99 Award as playoff MVP in 2013, as well as two J. Ross Robertson Cup titles with the London Knights. His status as a respected scorer jumped up as soon as he started with the Canucks, and his autographed memorabilia is well-respected and snatched up by fans who know that this young player is going to make a name for himself in the NHL.
During the first half of the 2015–16 season, Horvat juggled heightened goal-scoring expectations along with increased defensive responsibility after injuries to Brandon Sutter and Henrik Sedin. He went on a 6-game point streak between January 4 and 15, during which he scored six goals and nine points. When that streak ended on January 17, it was tied for the longest active point streak in the NHL. Horvat ended his sophomore season with 16 goals and 40 points.
In 2017 Horvat played in the 2017 NHL All-Star Game after having tallied 13 goals and 16 assists up to that point in the season. On March 3, 2017, Horvat was named as one of Vancouver’s second alternate captains replacing longtime Canuck Alexandre Burrows. Horvat ended the 2016–2017 season with 20 goals, 32 assists, and 52 points; setting career highs in all three categories.
On September 8, 2017, the Canucks re-signed Horvat to a six-year, $33 million contract extension worth $5.5 million annually.

Take a virtual walk through our vault to find authenticated treasures signed by Bo Horvat like these three items below.

This left-shooting wingman for the Tampa Bay Lightning is a four-time Stanley Cup Trophy winner and simply a great all-around hockey player. From the Olympics to the NHL, wherever Kunitz plays, good things happen, and his autographed NHL and Olympic collectibles are a sign of those good things with certified items such as electrifying photos of Kunitz with his first of four Stanley Cups.
He won his first Stanley Cup with the Anaheim Ducks, and his next three with the Pittsburgh Penguins. Now the Tampa Bay Lightning hope that his experience and reliable play-making help them in their charge to win the cup in 2018.
Interestingly, the Penguins let Kunitz go after his “production dropped to 50 points for the year.” Well, if that’s a drop in production, every NHL left wing should be so productive!
Kunitz left the Penguins in 2017 as a free agent and signed a one-year, $2 million, contract with the Tampa Bay Lightning where he has brought Stanley Cup experience, new energy and stability.
Below are a few nice items signed by four-time Stanley Cup winner Chris Kunitz. Then take a look through our entire collection.

The high-scoring Captain and right wing for the Philadelphia Flyers, Claude Giroux is a veritable NHL hockey star and his autographed NHL memorabilia is consistently in the tops of our requested signatures.

After leading the team in scoring in 2010 and placing third in the NHL scoring ranks, the Flyers signed Giroux in 2010 to a three-year, $11.25 million contract extension, which has again been extended.
In 2011, Claude Giroux came into his own, finishing the season with 76 points (25 goals), He also had 12 points the 2011 playoffs although the Flyers lost to the Boston Bruins. Also in that break-out year he made his first appearance in the NHL All-Star Game.

Justin Abdelkader plays left wing (and right wing) for the Detroit Red Wings and has risen to the position of alternate Captain. Standing at 6’2” and carrying 214 pounds, Justin is the quintessential front man, sporting a left-handed slap-shot that equals any in the league. Our signed NHL memorabilia by Justin Abdelkader is not only an investment in the Red Wings future but a great piece of history from the team that has been representing Detroit since 1934, and Justin Abdelkader is a big part of that future.
Prior to being drafted by the Red Wings in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft, Justin Abdelkader played in the 2007 NCAA Championship Game against Boston College, shot the winning goal, and won the NCAA Division 1 National Championship for Michigan State University. He was elected the famed Frozen Four Most Outstanding Player. That goal was the latest game-winning regulation goal ever scored in an NCAA Frozen Four championship, catching the net with only 18 seconds remaining.
Abdelkader went into the Red Wings farm system from basically 2005-2009, when he scored his first career NHL goal in Game 1 of the 2009 Stanley Cup Finals against the Pittsburgh Penguins on May 30, 2009. As history goes, after shooting the puck, Abdelkader grabbed the rebound out of the air with his glove, dropped the puck, and beat Marc-André Fleury high stick side. His second goal came nearly 24 hours later in the second game of the series, off of what commentators described as a “knuckle puck.” He carried the puck into the forward zone alone against three Penguins defenders and fired a slapshot past Fleury. He became the first rookie to score a goal in consecutive finals games since Minnesota’s Dino Ciccarelli did it in 1981.
Abdelkader played 50 games in 2009-10 scoring three goals, while adding three assists. Abdelkader was then re-signed by the Red Wings on a two-year extension worth $1.575 million. The 2010–11 season was Abdelkader’s first full NHL season as a Red Wing. Abdelkader played in 74 games, scoring seven goals, and adding 12 assists. During the 2011–12 season, he missed only one game, and finished the season with eight goals and 14 assists in 81 games. On September 14, 2012, Abdelkader signed a four-year, $7.2 million contract with the Detroit Red Wings.
On October 9, 2015, Abdelkader became the second player in Red Wings history to score a hat trick in a season opening home game, following Adam Brown in 1945. Abdelkader was named the First Star of the Week for the week ending October 12, 2015. He shared the league lead with four goals and tied for second in the NHL with five points. On November 12, 2015, the Red Wings signed Abdelkader to a seven-year, $29.75 million contract extension.

After a great career in Junior Hockey, which ended up with a stint in the OHL All-Star game, center Logan Couture was drafted by the San Jose Sharks ninth overall in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
In 2009, Couture made his NHL debut for the San Jose Sharks, and scored his first goal on November 5. In April of 2010, Couture scored his first two playoff goals against the Colorado Avalanche in Game 5 of the first round of the 2010 Stanley Cup playoffs. He also scored the game-tying goal in Game 3 in the second round against the Red Wings, establishing himself as a clutch player. Soon after, his name was sought-after for autographed memorabilia and fans clamored to grab it up.
Logan Couture also played in 2009–10 in the American Hockey League (AHL) scoring 53 points. He was a league-leader with nine game-winning goals and was named to the AHL All-Rookie Team.
He skated his first full season with the San Jose Sharks in 2010 and finished with 32 goals and 56 points, second amongst rookies. He earned a nomination for the Calder Memorial Trophy but didn’t win it. In 2011 Couture signed a two-year, $5.75 million extension through to the 2013–14 season. The season was locked out. Then in 2013,Couture signed a five-year, $30 million contract extension, and that year he scored his 100th career goal. After the 2014 seven-game playoff series loss to the eventual Stanley Cup champions Los Angeles Kings, Couture underwent surgery on his hand to repair an injury suffered in a fight. During the 2015–16 season, Couture was injured and upon his return he helped the Sharks to the Stanley Cup finals, where they lost to the Penguins. Couture led all players in playoff scoring with an amazing 30 points.
Couture has several outstanding achievements in the NHL including leading the league in points during the 2016 Stanley Cup Playoffs, being the
NHL Rookie All-Star team captain in 2010–11 season, and being a Calder Memorial Trophy Finalist in 2010–11.

In three years with the Chicago Cubs, Javier Baez has already lived up to his reputation in Major League Baseball. Prior to the 2013 season, MLB.com rated Báez as the 16th best prospect in baseball. The Cubs invited him to join their major league team in spring training, competing in the Cactus League. Báez hit four home runs in five at-bats over the course of two games. On August 5 of 2014, the Cubs promoted Báez to the major leagues. In his debut that day, he hit his first career home run, which was the game-winner in the 12th inning victory. He is the first player since 2003 to hit an extra innings home run in his debut. On October 2016, Báez was named NLCS CO-MVP alongside left-handed starter Jon Lester as the Chicago Cubs clinched their 2016 National League pennant. Then Baez got his World Series ring in 2016, and won the NLCS MVP.

In 2017, Baez finished the season with a .273 average, 23 home runs, 24 doubles, 75 RBIs, 75 runs, and 10 stolen bases. We are looking forward to acquiring more authentic and autographed MLB memorabilia from this slamming Cub 2nd baseman. Here is a nice factoid: He is the first player for the Cubs to steal home in a postseason game since Jimmy Slagle in 1907. Below are some fine examples of Javier Baez authenticated and autographed MLB collectibles including a beautiful ash bat. Take a look in our online vault for other Baez memorabilia and signed history by famous Cub’s players of old.

After banging home runs for the Cincinnati Reds and very briefly for the Cleveland Indians, Jay Bruce has a new home with the New York Mets. Jay Bruce just signed a three-year, $39 million contract with the Mets a week ago on January 16, 2018. Glad to have a home-run hitter. And this is the kind of clutch power hitting any team can use, but particularly the Mets: On September 28, Jay Bruce came to the plate in the bottom of the ninth inning, and clocked the first-pitch for a walk-off home run to clinch the NL Central title for the Reds. That clutch – and I mean clutch – home run was the Capital One Premier Play of the Year. Wow. The Mets are already in line to have equipment they bought autographed by Jay Bruce and certified on site. And we will have it coming in, so check with us in 2018. This is a nice little feather in his cap – when Bruce was 24, he banged out his 100th career home run becoming the third youngest Reds’ player to reach 100 home runs behind Johnny Bench and Frank Robinson, who both accomplished that feat at age 23. Nice company to beat! Here are a few of our authenticated Jay Bruce collectibles signed and certified. Check out our vault for the rest of his collection and other Red;s stars of the past and present.

This hard-throwing pitcher for the Cincinnati Reds had a tough time getting into the major leagues, although not for a lack of talent. No, he had to defect from Cuba. After playing baseball in Cuba for the national baseball team and appearing in the 2013 World Baseball Classic, Iglesias made his first attempt to leave the island illegally. He was caught, but later that year he made it to Haiti where he established residency. He went to an an open tryout in Mexico in December 2013 and signed with the Cincinnati Reds on June 27, 2014, to a seven-year contract worth $27 million, and became a starting pitcher when he arrived in the United States. In spring training in 2015, the Reds evaluated Iglesias as a starting pitcher. He began in the Reds’ starting rotation, and made his major league debut on April 12. He had a couple of stints on the disabled list, limiting him to just 18 games, 16 of them starts. His record was 3–7 with 104 K’s. The following season, after beginning the season in the rotation, Iglesias was moved to the bullpen. Iglesias served as setup man and closer for the Reds, finishing with 6 saves in 37 games.

Now he is becoming a go-to closer with a wicked fastball and curve. We expect a lot of saves from Iglesias in the coming 2018 season. Take a look at these MLB collectibles signed by Raisel Iglesias and certified authentic. Then take a tour of our website and see the other items from legendary Red’s players we have in stock.

Now here is a special major opportunity for you to capitalize on Major League Baseball. This player – Evan Longoria aka “Longo”– is so beloved by fans in Florida, not to mention fans and memorabilia collectors worldwide, that I am sure his remaining autographed MLB collectibles from his time with the Tampa Bay Rays will be scooped up within nine months at the outside. Fortunately for fans, Longo loved signing autographs and we love collecting and having those special items authenticated and certified and making them available to you, often with free shipping. I rarely make A+ recommendations for a player, but in this case, I will put my reserved character aside and tell you – the fan or investor – to BUY, BUY, BUY! Buy Longo, for the “long run.” A fan’s dream and an investor’s wise choice, Evan Longoria will surely be racking up a ton more hits, homers, RBIs and Golden Glove awards as the San Francisco Giants pursue a title and the World Series in 2018 (Oh yeah – spring training is getting in swing soon) … If you look through the thousands of profiles I have written about baseball players, you will not see many A+ ratings. And as Don Corleone said to Virgil Sollozzo, “I’ll give you my reasons.”

You see, not only is “Longo” a great baseball player and a bona fide star in MLB, but he is that rare combination of a player who is respected by his peers, revered by pitchers, and loved by fans. Unquestionably, the man is one of the most popular third baseman of all time. And as “the face” of his former team, the (dumb-ass) Tampa Bay Rays who traded him in 2017, his signed and authenticated photographs fly out our door faster now than Nolan Ryan could throw a fastball. That’s because he is no longer a Ray, so the authentic signed colelctibles are finite. Let’s briefly review what Longoria did for the Tampa Bay Rays during his nine glorious years from 2008 through 2017. Stats: At Bats – 5,450 — 780 runs – 1,471 hits – and a career BA of .270 to date. He ws the AL Rookie of the Year in 2008, he is a three-time All-Star (2008, 2009, 2010), his is a three-time Gold Glove Award winner (2009, 2010, 2017), he won the Silver Slugger Award in 2009, and carried the Tampa Bay Rays on his hefty shoulders for almost a decade. Evan Longoria holds the Rays team records for most career home runs, most doubles, and most RBIs, in addition to other records that are equally impressive. Facts about Longo’s career thus far: In 2008, his rookie year, Longoria hit two home runs in his first two at-bats in the post-season – Tampa Bay’s first playoff appearance – to help the Rays beat the Chicago White Sox. Of note, Longo is the first rookie ever to hit a home run in his first two postseason at-bats.

Well, Longo is no longer in the east coast’s most sunny state; he’s in the west coast’s most sunny state. On December 20, 2017, the Rays traded Longoria and paid some cash to the San Francisco Giants in exchange for Christian Arroyo, Denard Span, Matt Krook, and Stephen Woods. Four guys for one plus cash. And the Rays got the bad end of that deal. Buy yourself and a friend a great gift – a couple of Longo’s authenticated and autographed items of MLB memorabilia from his “Days with the Rays.” Listed below are a few really cool collectibles so you can get an idea of what we have in our vault.

Nomar Mazara is a hard-hitting outfielder who is about to begin his third year with the Texas Rangers in 2018. This guy is popular with fans since his very first game, and no wonder why. In April of 2016, Nomar Mazara was brought up from the minors and played his first game as a Ranger, starting in right field. In his first at-bat, he hit a single, then another single his second time around, and followed those hits with his first major league home run in his third at-bat, which was the only run scored for the Rangers in the game. What a way to start a major league career! His signed MLB collectibles became a hot item after his hot 2017 season. We have authenticated memorabilia autographed by Nomar Mazara. Mazara throws and bats left-handed and causes trouble for right-handed pitchers with his powerful swing. As he comes into his own this coming season (2018) we expect to see a 40-home run season with more than 100 RBIs. Of note, in 2011 when Mazara signed with the Texas Rangers as an international free agent, he received a $5 million signing bonus which is a record for a non-American prospect. We think the Rangers made a great investment.

After pitching for the Cincinnati Reds and Kansas City Royals, this two-time All-Star pitcher, World Series champion and Cy Young Award runner-up has been mowing down batters for the San Francisco Giants since 2016. His autographed MLB memorabilia is always in demand and we have some great items for you from photos to equipment.
He started with the Reds in 2008, and for his first two years ran hot and cold. But when he was hot, he was really hot, striking out 158 batters in only 174 innings in 2008, and in 2009 he led the National League in ERA for the first half of the season but was hampered by injury in the second half, ending up 11-11.
In 2010, Cueto got more consistent and had a 12–7 record and a 3.64 ERA in 31 starts. He pitched 185 innings and struck out 138, also only allowing 56 walks and 181 hits. Following the 2010 season, the Reds and Cueto agreed to a four-year, $27 million contract.
2011 was a breakout year for Cuerto, leading the majors with an ERA of .172 for much of the season, but after an injury in August, he ended up with a decent 9-5 record and a 2.31 ERA in 156 innings, which was just six innings short of qualifying for the ERA title. In 2012-13, he again was plagued by back injuries. In 2014, he was selected as an All-Star and runner up for the Cy Young award.
He has done very well through the 2017 season and we expect a great 2018 from Johnny Cueto as long as he stays healthy.
Take a look at these really nice items of authenticated MLB equipment and photographs signed by Johnny Cueto. Then peruse our vault full of many special signed collectibles by Johnny Cueto and many Reds stars past and present.

This 2016 All-Star left-fielder who also plays first base for the Cincinnati Reds is a sought-after autograph and we have some of his authenticated signed MLB memorabilia in our vaults.
In 2014, Duvall was called up from the minors to the San Francisco Giants and played 28 games at first base. The Giants won the World Series that year although Duvall saw no playing time. In 2015, he was traded to the Reds and played in 27 games, had .219 batting average with five home runs and nine RBIs.
In 2016, Duvall was included on the Reds’ opening day roster. By June, he led the NL in slugging percentage and was tied for first in MLB in home runs. He was selected to the 2016 All-Star Game as a reserve. He also participated in the 2016 MLB Home Run Derby and made the semifinals. In his first full season in the majors, Duvall played in 150 games and posted a .241 batting average, 33 home runs, and 103 RBI.
The Reds and his fans expect a great season from Adam Duvall in 2018, and we will be collecting his most exciting autographed MLB collectibles and making them available to you.
Take a look at these authenticated MLB collectibles signed by Adam Duvall and fully certified. Then peek in our vault and buy yourself one of our unique and authenticated items of historic MLB memorabilia.

Brett Gardner is a terrific outfielder and athlete with great speed on the bases, often leading the league or near the top in stolen bases. He is a great hitter, making contact with the ball on 93 percent of his swings. He has a solid fan base who seek out his autographed MLB memorabilia, and his certified signature on many nice items of his history with the Yankees.
Brett Gardner made his MLB debut with the Yankees in 2008 and was a part of the Yankees’ World Series championship team in 2009. He was an All-Star in 2015, won the Golden Glove in 2016 (and is often close in the annual voting), has led the league in triples by stretching doubles with his fantastic speed, and steals, steals and steals more bases, giving himself opportunities to score runs.
Gardner has been plagued by injuries in his career, but when he is healthy he hits at the top of the order and his disciplined approach at the plate often gets him on base with a walk. After another arm surgery in 2015, he came back in 2016 with 143 hits, 80 runs and a BA of .261, and in 2017 he banged out 157 hits, 96 runs and carried a BA of .264
Also in 2017, Gardner slammed his 1,000th career hit. He hit for a career-high 21 home runs, had 23 steals and a .264 average, helping the Yankees into the playoffs, where they ended up missing the World Series.

After a couple of years each with the Reds and then the Diamondbacks, Gregorius has found his home in pinstripes playing for the storied New York Yankees where he had almost identical offensive numbers in both of his two full years there. In 2016, he had 153 hits and a BA of .287, and in 2017 he had 155 hits and a BA of .276. Not only are the Yankees happy but the fans love him too, snapping up MLB memorabilia that is autographed by Didi Gregorius and certified authentic.
He was traded to the Yankees in 2015 and played shortstop, filling the big hole left by the huge shoes of Derek Jeter. In his first year with the Yankees, Gregorius was named a finalist for the American League Rawlings Gold Glove Award at shortstop, ending up second in voting. He played in 155 games in 2015, hit nine home runs with 56 RBIs and a .265 BA.
Gregorius had career highs in hits (155), doubles (32), home runs (20), and RBIs (70).
In 2017 Gregorius was hampered by injuries in the spring but recovered and slammed his 500th hit and his 50th home run of his career, leading to a final vote for the 2017 MLB All-Star Game. He also set the all-time record for most home runs in a season by a Yankee shortstop. Despite missing the first month and playing only 136 games, Gregorius had career highs in batting average .287, home runs 25, and RBIs with 87.
Of post-season note, in the 2017 AL Wild Card Game, Gregorius hit a three-run home run in the bottom of the first that tied the game. In the 2017 AL Division Series, he hit two home runs off of Corey Kluber in the series-deciding Game 5. The Yankees and his fervent fans are looking forward to a great 2018 as Gregorius comes fully into his own and plays the power shortstop.

Rafael Devers will be all of 22 years old when he starts at third base in 2018 for the storied Boston Red Sox. This ball-smashing and glove-burning professional baseball player will certainly see his stock rise in what is set to be a breakout season. Already, we are having a hard time keeping his autographed MLB equipment and photographs in stock, and by the 2018 All-Star break, my educated guess is that his signed collectibles will be some of the hottest baseball items on the market.
Devers hits left-handed, which is big trouble for American League pitchers, some of whom have already learned what a baseball looks like – or doesn’t look like – traveling at 100 miles per hour back the other way. It’s hard to track a little white ball moving that fast, although Devers seems to have no problem with it. Even the legendary “Big Papi” – David Ortiz – has said that Devers reminds him of himself at that age, only more advanced.
In 2017 he was brought up to the Red Sox from their farm teams, where he had been since he was 17 years old. That made Rafael Devers the youngest MLB player, and he quickly showed the fans that the Red Sox made a good move. He played 58 games in 2017 and whacked 63 hits, 10 homers and 30 ribbies, ending with a .284 average.
Devers also showed he was no rookie when he had his opportunities in the playoffs. In the American League Divisional Series against the Houston Astros he clocked a homer in the third game giving the Red Sox their first lead in the series. Devers became only the sixth player in Major League Baseball history to hit a home run in the playoffs before his 21st birthday, joining Hall-of-Famer Mickey Mantle, Andruw Jones, Miguel Cabrera, Manny Machado, and Bryce Harper.
Snag these excellent MLB collectibles signed by Rafael Devers and certified authentic by JSA before he clocks 50 homers and 100 RBIs in 2018 and his autographed memorabilia becomes even more valuable.

Lance McCullers Jr. did something in 2017 that his father never did – pitch in a Major League Baseball World Series game. His father pitched for eight years in the major leagues, playing for four teams. His son came right behind him, and then went right past him.
After being drafted by the Houston Astros in the 2012 draft, Lance McCullers Jr. pitched his way around the minor leagues until the Astros brought him up in 2015. Two short years later, he was voted to the All-Star team and pitched in two games of the 2017 World Series including game 7, which the Astros won to clinch the World Series. Wow.
Lance McCullers Jr. has a bevy of autographed MLB memorabilia that is rated A+ on the collectors’ scale. His signed and certified equipment and photos from his short but illustrious career is locked away in our air-tight vault, and is available for you to purchase before his marquee name gets even more attention, which it will.
When the Astros placed Lance McCullers Jr. into the pitching rotation at the start of the 2017 season, he delivered strikes – lots of them. From May 6−23, he tossed 22 scoreless innings in four starts, which earned him the AL Pitcher of the Month Award. He was credited with a 4−0 record over six starts with an AL-leading 0.99 ERA and 37 strikeouts.
On October 21, 2017, McCullers pitched four scoreless innings in relief and earned his first career save in a 4–0 win over the New York Yankees in Game 7 of the ALCS. This sent the Astros to their first World Series since 2005, which they won.

After 12 attempts to escape Cuba and get to either Mexico or the United States so he could play professional baseball, Yasiel Puig finally made it to the U.S., where an agent got him a deal with the Los Angeles Dodgers worth $42 million over seven years, starting as a rookie. And as a rookie, the super-talented powerhouse named Yasiel Puig paid off big-time for the Dodgers. His autographed MLB memorabilia – including beautiful color action photos and game equipment is some of the hottest MLB collectibles out there today. He is a huge hero in Cuba and other Hispanic countries who snap up any collectibles signed by Yasiel Puig and certified by experts, which is what we carry.
Yasiel Puig, aka “The Wild Horse,” made his MLB debut on June 3, 2013. In 2013, hitting .319 in 104 games with 19 home runs and 42 RBIs, and was selected by Baseball America to their annual “All-Rookie team.” In the month of June, Puig had 44 hits, which broke the long-standing record set by Steve Sax in 1983 as the team record for most hits by a rookie in one month.
In 2014, he continued to improve, assaulting pitchers with powerful shots that often garnered extra-base hits due to his speed. In May, he hit in eight consecutive games with at least one extra-base hit and RBI, a record for the Dodgers snagged from Duke Snider in 1954. He also slammed May Dodger records hitting .398 with eight home runs and 25 RBI. He started the 2014 All-Star Game, the youngest Dodger starter for an All-Star game since Steve Sax in 1982.
The next two years were slowedd down by injuries but he returned to form in 2017, hitting .263 with 28 home runs, 74 RBIs and 15 stolen bases. He was selected for the Wilson Defensive Player of the Year Award, and did well in the post-season, hitting .455 in the 2017 NLDS and .389 with a home run in the 2017 NLCS, but he and his teammates fell short in the 2017 World Series which the Dodgers lost to the Houston Astros in seven wonderful games.
Check out Yasiel Puig’s signed and certified MLB collectibles below and then peruse our stuffed vault full authenticated signed memorabilia.

Lance Lynn was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the first round of the 2008 MLB Draft and the big right-throwing pitcher has done a great job with the Cardinals including playoff and World Series performances. Weighing in at 280 pounds, Lynn puts the fear of Fontana into batters when he leans into that fastball. We have some great autographed MLB memorabilia signed by Lance Lynn and certified authentic.
As of this writing (January 2018), Lynn is a free agent and has some lucrative offers being dangled in his face. For example, the Chicago Cubs have offered him $42 million for a three-year contract, the Milwaukee Brewers are hotly pursuing him, and other teams are competing for his services also.
Lance Lynn was a World Series champion in 2011 and has been an All-Star pitcher. His lifetime W/L record is 72-47, with 919 SOs and and ERA of 3.38. He pitched very well from 2011-2014, including in the World Series in two of those years. He threw smoke in the 2014 NLDS playoffs and in the NLCS against the Giants. His post-season record was a 3.08 ERA, which belies some key innings where he saved the day for the Cardinals.
In 2016, he suffered an injury to his pitching arm and was out the entire season. Lynn rejoined the Cardinals’ starting rotation in 2017, and finished the year by making 33 starts with an 11-8 record and a 3.43 ERA. After the season, Lynn became a free agent for the first time of his career
